Guest Speaker: Kristian Hudson, Implementation Specialist 

Implementation research has excelled at understanding the problem of implementation but so far failed to seriously engage with the critical question of how to make transformational change actually happen.

In this lunch and learn, Kristian will explain how if we are to ensure greater implementation success and impact, we need to capture and generate practical implementation knowledge. This requires pragmatic evaluation approaches, interprofessional learning, and an intelligent learning health system, backed up by a continual process of robust engagement which can deal with complexity. Via a real world example, he will share with you a robust approach to implementation which captures, generates and facilitates practical implementation knowledge and can be used by anyone involved in an implementation process. Kristian will also be happy to answer an implementation questions you may have on the day.
